new blog design...

so the pink blog was getting to me a little bit so i thought i would change the template--isn't it pretty? all is well here--we're just gearing up for our WV/MD trip on friday--yikes!!! this week is busy, too, but then isn't the whole summer? the kids are great--adrian and jonathan came over today to play and lisa and i got a chance to chat, which is always nice. todd and i get haircuts today (aren't you glad you decided to read the blog today??) and zuzu does too, actually. i spent the morning on the phone with various docs' offices trying to make an appt. to get established--you would not believe how hard that was to do!! i was on the phone ALL morning! anyway, james has successfully rolled from front to back twice now--here's a photo of him getting ready to roll. oh, and my friend "m" had her appt--they think the babies are in separate sacs, so they aren't getting tangled in the cord, but they might be suffering from twin-twin transfusion, which is not good. she goes again for a sono on july 24th and she is talking to a specialist in twin-twin transfusion in tampa who does surgery for it. right now they just have to wait, so i will continue to be praying for them. cheers...

Just a quick jot tonight...

Hey all, met some cool new people tonight whilst leaving Bonefish Grill--God is always setting up these divine appointments for us (isn't He awesome???). Anyway, James and Bella had their four month check up today and were very healthy! James weighed 15 pounds, 9 pounces, and Bella weighed 14 pounds, 14 ounces--so big! And they both got 3 shots each...yuckaroo!! My friend "M" has an appointment tomorrow with the specialist at Shands so we need to keep on praying for her and her babies!!! I will post pix soon! Cheers!

pray with me...

I invite all of you reading my blog to join me in prayer tonight for my friend "M" who is pregnant with twins. She had an unsettling ultrasound today where one twin's head was significantly larger than the other. She will be seeing the perinatologist at Shand's hopefully this week to determine what's going on, but as you can imagine, she is frightened by the possibilities. Pray with me:
Heavenly Father, you are the author of the human body and we look to you for healing, comfort, and peace for M's twins. We know that even when our medical tests tell us one thing, you are at work--and sometimes we do not see the fruit of that work until the end. God, I earnestly ask you to heal whatever is causing this condition in M's twins. I pray for good news at the doctor's visit this week and for peace to descend upon their house. I believe in miracles, Lord, and I know that you are walking beside M and I believe you can cradle that tiny baby in the palm of your hand and speak healing into his or her little body. Lord, please let the rest of M's pregnancy be smooth, and let M walk in faith with you that you will never leave her side, even in the darkest moments. Amen

A Lot of Blog For Your Buck...

Hold on to your hats, folks, because I have posted the most pictures ever!!! The following are from our trip to visit Mimi and Poppy in Venice, Lily at gymnastics, and then our Disney weekend--June has been a crazy month!!! The twins are 16 weeks tomorrow and are both sleeping like champs at night. James no longer seems to have eczema or reflux or colic and he and Bella just smile and laugh most of the time. Lily and Ty are great--busy and sometimes grumpy, but great. Disney was fun but very crazy--there was a jump-rope convention staying at our hotel...yes, that's a real thing...no, I didn't believe it either...yes, all 457 of them were in line to eat before us on Friday... anyway, Lily and Ty did enjoy Disney World, but in their own little way. Enjoy all the photos! cheers...
