new toys
so this is a pictureless post tonight because i do not know how to download them onto our new imac--the screen is ginormous and i am looking forward to blogging on it as all my blogging had previously been done on my trusty laptop, which was becoming slow and not so trusty in her old age...now i am truly spoiled!!! and speaking of spoiled, my hubbs got me a new nikon tonight...i can practically smell a new career--kelly g photography??? i am almost wiggling with excitement over having a new camera to use on our kids--i promise the level of quality will be going up :) i am going to ny this weekend to see jamie and i plan to fill up a couple of sd cards on her kids and the scenery where she lives--she's somewhat of an expert on her nikon so i plan to be young grasshopper under her tutelage...anyway, hope everyone is well and the massive hhi post will be coming your way soon--as well as the post from the twins' first birthday--love and blessings to all, cheers!

Happy 3rd Birthday Ty!!!
So my baby boy turns three this next week and we've already been celebrating! We had a family-only party--which for us means a packed house! Ty had so much fun! BOTH uncles were here, so that's always special!!
As I've mentioned before, one of my very best friends, Amy, makes cakes and she did Ty's (and the twins, too) but Ty couldn't resist--see where he stuck his finger in it?? all that beautifully smooth fondant vs. 3 year old little boy...
here he is all smiles after he saw the cake the morning of his party
he and Sissy begging to eat this for breakfast...
Mommy and Bella--that's a plastic chicken drumstick she's chewing on...it is hands-down her FAVORITE toy!! funny little girl...
Ty holding the friendship book that Lily made for his birthday--the whole thing was just precious--she worked so hard on it and wrapped it and everything--and he was so excited to get it! They are so cute together...
we made a stop at Nicole and Megan's birthday party this day and these are some of Lily's little girl friends from school...

Here are a few pix from the last few weeks--prior to birthday-palooza and our trip to Hilton Head. I decided to just do four separate posts so I could keep it all straight--so although this one will appear last, it's actually the one I started with since the pix are the oldest. Anyway, MUCH more to come! enjoy!
Zuzu beelines for this chair at night after it has been vacated by the kids...
Miss Thang in the backyard wearing a lovely dress-up frock--compliments of Nicole and Megan (we'll bring it back as soon as I peel it off of her :))
Lily helped me paint the kids' bathroom walls--ORANGE!!! And I love the color--BEST decision I ever made and now I have decided to find other walls to paint in our house (more blogging on that to come surely!)
this was a four-year-old's dream come true--"Here honey, paint bright orange on the wall please...no really, all over it!"
the two of them came tearing through the house wearing this old nightie andfell in a heap in front of me--this picture is after they managed to get back up--took them about 3 minutes!
I NEVER know where I am going to find the two of them!!
the twinnies enjoying their cheerios--don't much look like babies anymore, do they?
so big!
so serious...
"mommy, I DO NOT need a nap!!!"
yes, I bought another new stroller and no, I don't want to hear any flack about it...it's awesome, I love it, I use it EVERY day...so there (just kidding, I know I've bought a wee bit more in the stroller dept. than most people, but I am now an incredible resource for other people when they are selecting the ONE stroller they wish to buy and keep ...I'm quirky, what can I say???)
