a lazy day at home

the sisters

Lily has learned to cross her eyes...
I was pleading with her to stop so I could get one decent picture of her--she complied
James, who we have nicknamed Jimmy-Moon since he orbits around me 24-7, loves playing with this little doorframe house. isabella has learned the word "window" and will open and close it on command--so cute
poor Jimmy Moon, with his conjunctivitis--he looks like he has a black eye!
here's Ty giving me his best angle for a photo

Isabella seeks out this stethoscope and puts it on every day, crawling around with it. She has always latched onto funny things--her last object was a plastic chicken drumstick...go figure
the four playing around
LOOK!! We grew peas!! We started these from seed and they have just taken off!!
my hydrangeas, which I have neglected and they grow and bloom in spite of me! so pretty!!
more peas!

so some critter (rabbit, cat, squirrel, who knows) came along and chewed off the tops of my sunflowers and some of my roses too...grrrrrrr

gymnastics and swim lessons

Lily and Ty's last day of school and preschool graduation

Ty and Ms. Sherry, who was also Lily's 2 year-old teacher--both kids adored her!!
here are Lily and Ty with Daddy on their way into school for the last day--I can't believe Lily is no longer a pre-schooler!!!!

these were before school on the last day, out on our front porch--of course it rained so they didn't get to play on the playground! :(

Lily with her teachers, both of whom we loved this year!! This was at the luncheon after her graduation
Lily with some friends from her class--Max and Nicole
here she is receiving her diploma
they also performed several songs--this was a Gainesville-appropriate gator chomping song, complete with alligator hats
Lily was all the way down on the end

she did get to lead the way for the processional

Spring has sprung...sort of

Today was a special one for James as we had his curls cut off...gone is my baby boy and in his place is a little boy who is still just as fiercely attached to his mama as he ever was...could his eyes get any bluer???
He was so good during his cut and our gal Sarah was speedy and accurate--very important for cutting toddler hair

this one can be considered the before shot since they are in backwards order on here
Lily's class today celebrated all the summer birthdays--including hers. One of my best friends, Amy, the cake baker, crafted the cake for the party for all nine kids--Ty got to join Lily's class and they both had fun having Mommy there...
Lily holding court at the table

Todd's family visited Saturday since he was in Germany. Lily had fun with GG and Aunt Hoot--they "baked" a cake with her Disney Princess oven that cooks with ice...don't ask me how
GG, Gran, Hoot, and the babies
Lily with Aunt Hoot, and Great Grandma
Here's Great-Gran playing with Ty--they did this for over an hour!! Ty was LOVING this!!
The rainbow in front of our neighborhood the other day
Lily and Ty at the Y for swim lessons

this was in our little pool in the backyard--they were being so sweet with each other

coloring on the windows with special markers--they loved this
the babies are just dying to be as big as their older sibs

We are missing Daddy--Hi Daddy!!! Can't wait for him to return! Cheers!
