Today was the fulfillment of a little dream of mine--to some day have little girls and throw them a tea party...check! To celebrate Valentine's Day, I had about ten of my friends and their little girls come over to have tea, wear fancy clothes, and just have some girly fun. Todd took Ty and James out to the Bagel Bakery and they did some other "boy stuff" as he called it. Lily practically wiggled from excitement for the past four days--she was so excited about this! And rightly so-- it was so cute to see her with all of her little girl friends pouring their tea, EATING the sugar cubes straight up (thus a stomachache after the guests had gone home), practicing their little manners--they all just ate it up and so did the mommies! Here are some pix from today (although I confess I didn't take as many as I would have liked--got busy and forgot!)

Karen and Mackenzy (who did not like Zuzu and was recovering here from meeting her)

Sira and her daughters Surisa and Sumari (in the baby carrier)

and here I am with Miss Isabella, who was in my arms for half of the party--and loving it!

the lovely Miss Karin, who is holding baby Sumari--Karin chose to come even though her children are all grown and out of the house. God Bless her for loving all of us since we always seem to hand her a baby! Not that she complains (and she IS a midwife!)
