WARNING: this is a DISNEY post!!! 10,000 pictures ahead!

We just returned from Disney yet again--we just can't get enough!! We went with Todd's parents this time and had so much fun--the kids are at the perfect age to soak it up. On a VERY awesome note--the highlight of my trip--was serendipitously meeting up with my long lost friend Michelle--outside of "It's a Small World," no less (and no, the irony was not wasted on me :)). She and her husband Fabio and their daughter Juliette saw us while we were in line. A note on them--when we moved into our townhouse in Pembroke Pines in 2002, they were the only neighbors that we really met. The actual night we met, Todd ended up helping Fabio move a large chair down their stairs because Michelle was very pregnant and had been sleeping in it in their bedroom and wanted it downstairs instead. Anyway, Michelle and I bonded and were fairly inseparable for the remainder of the time that we lived there. She was (and still is) one of the most special people in my life and sadly we had lost touch gradually after we moved away. God knew what a special kinship we shared and gave us the Divine appointment on Saturday--Juliette's sixth birthday--and we vowed to never let as much time go by. I thank God for my friend and for our reunion--HE is so good. Here are some pix from long ago to compare with what we took Saturday... Lily and Juliette in Aprili 2005 when they came for a visit--this was the last time we all saw each other...

sorry for the sideways shot, but here's Michelle holding Lily during our Christmas party in 2004

and here's Lily and Juliette on Halloween in 2004--Lily was a day shy of three months old...

Auntie Michelle holding Lily when she was only a few days old...okay now shift gears for a minute because we'll come back to Michelle and Juliette...here are pix from Disney...

for those of you who know Lily well, this picture speaks VOLUMES!!! Sheepy is her very BEST friend and her face here says it all...

James waiting for Ty to finish riding Dumbo with Gran...

now here are Juliette and Lily (who would NOT smile for me!!!)--to think that these two used to chew on each other and scream together in their babyhood and now they are perfect strangers is a little sad!

and here I am with Michelle--thanks again to God for setting this up :)

look, we're still smiling after MANY hours at the Magic Kingdom :)

a little tuckered out but not in full meltdown stage

and they're happy if someone just hands them a bottle...

Sheepy looking wistfully out the window on her way to EPCOT--what do you think she's thinking?

Sheepy just adored EPCOT

"DON'T take my picture!!!!!!!!!"....okay

Gran and Ty (wonder if that rope will hold them in the event of a derailment??)

Shucky Bro Dogs!

we liked the train!

GG, Gran, and the twins strolling around DD

this is where we ate lunch--essentially it's the Rainforest Cafe but with a dinosaur theme and brand new--we all LOVED it! We were beginning to celebrate Ty's birthday, which is fast approaching!

lots to look at (that's a life-size T-REX in the background--he moves and roars)

we sat in the "ice cave," which Ty felt the walls and said, "the ice isn't cold yet!"

this was how we really looked--the colors changed continuously and the walls and ceiling would be pink or yellow--the kids were very fascinated!

James and Mommy

this is James's new thing--pointing--and he did it a LOT this weekend

another look at the ice cave

and another--isn't it cool?? (pun intended)

after lunch we visited the Build-A-Dino workshop and Lily and Ty built dino friends--Lily's is pink and named Clarice--Ty's is blue and Lily named him Jordan (when Ty refused to give him a name--isn't that just like a big sister??)

he listened so carefully to the instructions!

Lily making a wish on her heart

yep, she's feels just right!

the finished product!

YEAH!! You made it! I think that was a record post! Thanks for sticking around--you must really love our family :) cheers!
